Anyone watching Series 4 of the New Doctor Who? It started last Friday night on BBC America and on Sci-Fi, I think. Looking really good.

I am now totally hooked on Dr. Who and Torchwood thanks to my roommate. The season 4 premiere was quite an extravaganza: The Titanic! Kylie Minogue!
Explosions! We joked about how it looks like they blew the FX budget for the entire season in one eppy!
I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the season. Thanks, Mundi

So did anyone watch "Partners In Crime" on Sci-Fi this past Friday (the 25th)? The storyline wasn't the strongest but the end was a shock!
I'm loving that we're only a few weeks behind the BBC's schedule.

What?
What?!?!? WHAT?!?!?!?!??! (If you're caught up on UK episodes then you know why I'm reacting thusly. I do not want to spoil those watching on Sci-Fi.) |

Moni -- I'm so unspoiled but I thought I knew. . . about next season stuff. . . but maybe not. . . but. . . but . . I want to stay
unspoiled but. . . GAH. It was borderline cheesetastic at times, with the different gangs coming together but I loved it nonetheless. And during that part. You
know that part . . . with the running? I knew that would not go well. Mean. Sadistic. Bastard, that RTD is.

Oh, not to mention Ianto's look once he got a look at the Doctor, too. Awesome.
Was I alone in imagining that the sound that preceded the message from That Person (who I also loved seeing!) was the same sound from The Sound of Drums? So so evil. EVIL! Is it next week yet?

Oh I love the new series and I loved the classic series too.
I have seen all of series 4 and I have to say they did a great job but it was kind of a bittersweet ending for some. But I think people will love it. And I loved Chris as the 9th Doctor too and was sorry to see him leave he did a wonderful job as the Doctor. But I really like David in the role PJ

I was less than enamored of the series 4 finale. For several reasons.
Mostly on Donna's behalf. But also because it just felt more fanwanky than usual. I dunno. I guess they set expectations too high with the penultimate episode. Ah well. The episode that's airing tonight on Sci-Fi (Midnight) is maybe my favorite of the season. Just. . . astounding acting and concept. It sucks that it's cut up with commercials because it's extremely intense to watch in one full sitting. |
