So, I DVR'd it and watched last night. I really don't need something else to watch, but Nathan Fillion...love him, so I gave it a try. It was pretty
good, similar to Bones, but cute and loved Castle's daughter and the relationship they have. Will watch again next week. What do you guys think?

I saw it & liked it also. Nathan Fillion was pretty funny & I thought he had great chemistry with the detective chick (can't remember her name
right this second). I plan to add it to my Monday night line-up.

I watched it. I really like it. I will definitely be watching it again. I was surprised to see the guy who played Dr. Devlin in it. Love Nathan Fillion.

I think the detective's name is Kate.
And I loved the show and loved Nathan. He is so charmingly funny and has good chem with Kate. I also love the relationship he has with his daughter and thinks his mother is a freakin trip. LOL! Baby! ~Jeanine~

but Nathan Fillion...love him,Amen! Nathan Fillion is a handsome guy who does funny very well. It's great to see him back on tv. I really enjoyed Castle and definitely will watch again. Mom was hilarious...Susan Sullivan does over the top wonderfully. And the daughter was great. And yeah, I was surprised to see the guy who played Ian Devlin. The GH alum are doing quite well for themselves. :: Lynda ::

Ohh....THAT'S where I've seen that guy! It was totally bugging me...of course, how could I have forgotten Dr. Naked, I must have blocked it out.
I agree that Nathan was funny and charming, he had some great LOL lines. I liked Kate (thanks for the name Jeanine) too, I don't think I've seen her in anything.

I watch anything and everything Nathan Fillion is in!! I have loved him since he played Joey on OLTL!!
I will be adding this to my Monday night line up!!! I just hate to get invested in another ABC show. they like to cancel them after 2 seasons. (October Road, Dirty, Sexy Money, Pushing Daisys) I just hope this one has better luck. ~tonya~

Oh I was hoping there'd be a thread for this show. I LOVE THIS SHOW and I absolutely love Nathan Fillion. He makes the greatest facial expressions and
quick one-liners! Kate is growing on me. The show in itself is worth watching. I hope they don't cancel this show either. I know it was a
"mid-season" type replacement but it seems since it's following Dancing With The Stars, it's been in the Top 20 viewing so here's hoping!
Okay, so i watched last night. The preview for next week seemed interesting... sleeping with his ex-wife? I assume that is his daughter's mother? interesting. I liked finally learning Kate's backstory about what happened to her mom. I also liked that Kate just showed up to Rick's house as he was in the middle of laser tag. Hilarious. I know I'm going to love this show and watch it get canned.

Loved this weeks episode!
I really liked learning Kates backstory. I love that Castle is going to be looking in to her mothers murder. Next week looks really great!!

I liked last night's episode. Kate's ex is back. Castle and the ex sizing each other up. The story had me guessing a little bit although they seemed to
be obviously throwing guilt on the father at first, but it was interesting. Next week is the finale. And it looks really good!!!!!!!!!! Do we know if the show
is picked up for a full season next year?

Been busy and got WAY behind on my tv watching. Don't know how I ever survived without the DVR. Anyway, watched the last 3 episodes of Castle last
night. The more I watch it, the more I love it. Of the 3 I watched, I think the jewelry one was my favorite, I loved Kate & Rick at the ball...the whole
white whale thing was hilarious.
The supporting cast is good, I love the daughter and the mother and even the other 2 cops, Dr. Naked and Esposito, they're pretty funny too. I noticed that Dr. Naked is always holding one of Castle's books...is he reading them all or what? I am so glad other people are watching, fingers crossed that it gets renewed.

Stumbled on this. I think it's a fine idea.
Season 1 of Castle has been announced on DVD and will be available to purchase from September 22, 2009. The DVD set will contain 3 disks and Bonus Features Include: Hardboiled: Genesis of the show, Chemistrry: Experience Nathan and Stana's chemistry on and off the screen, bloopers, deleted scenes and commentaries. It's been unofficially announced that Castle has been renewed...though official word isn't expected from ABC until Tuesday. This website seems legit, and since it's my kind of news, I'll post it.
