Can't be a better time to pop in and wave and say Hi! and get to know everybody). As always, the disclaimers: 1. As always, the Main Board is for Jason and Elizabeth discussion, so please keep the discussion Liason centric, please. 2. The Main board is for Spoiler Free discussion only; and finally 3. This question is for STORY-LINE ONLY, NOT CHARACTER. And the question is a two parter, actually. 1. If you could change the future of General Hospital by adding or increasing two elements of their stories (again, these cannot be characters/charactger related, they must be story related), what 2 things would you add/increase? and 2. The 2 elements I would add to the GH stories are the completion of stories and speed. GH has lost the ability to tell a complete story. They give us plot points but never tie everything together so that it is cohesive. Secondly, GH drags out their stories too long so that by the time you get the reveal, you either don't care or it's anticlimatic. The reason the MC Hostage Crisis and the B&W Ball worked so well was b/c GH kept the stories moving. Everyday you found out alittle more of the story or why characters were doing what they were doing. 2. The one element I would add to Jason and Elizabeth's story would be a common enemy trying to harm the boys so that they have to work together as parents and realize they are better and stronger together at protecting their family. thanks GQfan4E for the avatar

If you could change the future of General Hospital by adding or increasing two elements of their stories (again, these cannot be characters/charactger related, they must be story related), what 2 things would you add/increase? I would increase the Romance and the adventure. That's what keeps you coming back for more, imo -- romantic stories with couples you care about thrown into adventures -- whatever those adventures might be. But whatever they are, to be an "Adventure" it has to contain action and danger, mystery and suspense. So yeah. I want more Romance and more Adventure. 2. If you could add/increase ONE thing to the story of Jason and Elizabeth, what storyline related element would it be? Hm. Couple time. I don't mind angst and drama but I want to see the two of them tackle those issues (and others) together as a couple and a team. Love and romance is about people working as partners together, and that's what I want to see Jason and Elizabeth do. Work together as partners in their relationship. JT Mail. Call 323.671.4583. First I would have the show be more balanced in the storytelling. The mob story lines have dominated so long that relationships outside the mob story lines have been ignored. I would also have stories that aren't about the "horror" event of the month. Killer carnivals, deadly dances, exploding buildings every other week, etc.. Used sparingly they add drama, but GH has overused them to the point that they hold no interest for me...unless Jason and Elizabeth get to be together. 2. If you could add/increase ONE thing to the story of Jason and Elizabeth, what storyline related element would it be? Recognitions that they have both lost something. The two of them played huge parts in each others lives for a decade. I think we need to see them missing the other's friendship at the very least. For instance, Jason making a comment in passing that he misses the unconditional support Elizabeth always gave him. Little things to acknowledge that a piece is missing from each other's lives.
